People Who Help Us

This half term the Reception theme has been “People Who Help Us.” We have learnt about the roles of doctors, nurses, firefighters and lollipop people. We have been role playing in our doctor’s surgery and had lots of fun outside, painting flames and pretending to be fire fighters putting out fires. We even got to meet a firefighter. He showed us his uniform, and we were able to ask lots of questions.

This week we had a visit from a lollipop lady and she taught us how to cross the road safely. In our outside area we practised road safety and created a petrol station and car wash to clean our trikes and scooters.
