Spring Vale's School Parliament Elections

Today has been an exciting one at Spring Vale as we held our School Parliament Elections!

Over the past few weeks, children from Years 1 to 6 have been busy designing posters, writing speeches and sharing their ideas about how they can make our school an even better place. Each class listened carefully to the candidates before casting their votes (today) in a real ballot - learning first-hand about democracy and responsibility.

We were so impressed by the confidence, creativity and kindness shown by all who took part. Every pupil who stood for election should feel incredibly proud of themselves!

Congratulations to our newly elected School Parliament Representatives who will now work together to represent their classmates, share ideas and help plan events!

A huge thank you to all parents for encouraging and supporting the children during the election process.

Well done to all our wonderful Year 6 helpers from Magpies and Robins who helped to run the day efficiently!
